A: When you use older versions of Magic Desktop, these use a licensing service that needs to be running when it starts. However, this process runs among many others upon startup and sometimes, when your startup list of services is too large, it may take time to load. So when you start Magic Desktop, it may actually come after. By clicking on “Close” when the license prompt appears you should still be able to enter Magic Desktop, however.
