You have 3 possible situations here:
1- You were planning on purchasing Magic Desktop.
The solution for this is to follow the steps in our help topic Licensed Reset and when you reach the reset screen, choose “Buy License”. Once you receive the key in your mail, repeat the steps and choose “Activate License”.
2- You have set Magic Desktop to run on start-up (see Startup-Policy), even if you restart the PC or log-off, you are still sent to Magic Desktop without a password once you log-on;
The solution for situation this is:
Force the computer to shutdown by holding the Power button on your machine for 3 seconds.
Once you restart, you will be greeted by this screen:
Follow the instructions on-screen and you will be taken to Windows.
Once there, you can reinstall Magic Desktop and the password will be reset back to “0000”.
3- You haven’t set Magic Desktop to run on start-up.
The solution for this is:
Input Ctrl+Alt+Del on your keyboard and use the “Power” icon to Restart the computer.
After that, you may reinstall the product and the password will be reset back to “0000”.
