How do I configure Magic Desktop to run on Start-up?

Even if you only have one account configured (see Child Accounts), you can set it to automatically load Magic Desktop as soon as you sign-in to Windows.

Open your “Parental Control”.

Now click on “Start-up Policy”.

Check the box for the account you wish to have Magic Desktop running on sign-in. Click “Next”.

Now review if you wish to have any of these Smart Restart options.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using the trial and forget your password, these settings are useful to be enabled, so you can follow the steps in our help topic Unlicensed Reset.

Now click “Finish”.


Next time you start that user profile, the software will load before the child sees Windows.
