Depending on the child's age, Magic Desktop will offer different content. When you first configure Magic Desktop, you will be prompted an age and gender. This can be changed later on. Let’s see how that’s done:
Open the “Parental Control”.
Choose “User Profile and settings”.
On the first page, age, gender, preferences for Magic Pick and multilingual support can be changed. Once you are done, click “Next”.
Then choose which topics for learning exercises you wish to include for your child. Click “Next”.
Now personalize your child’s web browsing experience and click “Finish”.
An important note: As a parent there are several other parts of the experience that you can personalize. Explore each program and you’ll see that you usually have access to parental settings. Learn more about that in our help topic about Parental Mode. Additionally, you can also add new Programs or remove existing ones. Look into your help topics Program Approval and Remove Programs. Finally, you can also personalize the websites your child uses, check our help topic Adding Bookmarks for that.
