As long as it runs on Windows, it will run on Magic Desktop. For this example, let’s use Windows Paint:
On your program menu, click “All Programs and games”.
It will expand to show you all programs. At the top, click “Add Programs and games”.
On this menu, you can choose the programs you can add by browsing through the folder tree on the left. On the upper tabs you can also remove existing programs you do not want (see Removing Programs).
Let’s choose “Paint”. As you can see, it is now inside the lower table, ready to be used. Click “Done”.
Now it’s visible in your program’s list. Try opening it.
Now the program is open and your child can start using it freely.
An important safety note: Many Windows programs allow access to the file explorer. This means that children can delete important files from the “Open” or “Save as” commands. If you don’t want that to happen, it’s best to not approve programs like this.
