First, go to “Parental Control”.
The click on “No Work – No Play”.
Once you reach the menu, skip to “Limit computer use”.
Let’s set a limit for 30 mins on weekdays. Daily limits can be changed for either weekdays or weekends separately.
Now choose the behavior that Magic Desktop has when time is up. “Lock Magic Desktop” will give you a prompt after lockdown with options, especially useful, if you have several child users. You can also Shutdown the computer.
You can also set a scheduled model for that child’s profile to be available during the week.
Click “Finish” and these policies stay in effect for this particular user. For other users, you’ll need to set this again. If you have multiple children using the same computer, check our help topic on Child Accounts.
Once the 30 minutes are up, Magic Desktop closes and becomes locked for that user with the following notification:
The child can choose to exit the account so their brother/sister can use the PC next, shutdown the computer or you can exit to Windows to do some work or click "Unlock" to go back and allow for more usage time.
