Magic Desktop is designed to run smoothly on any computer that can run Windows 10 or later!

System

- Operating System: Windows 10 or later
- Hardware: Any computer capable of running Windows 10
- Storage: 500 MB available disk space
- Internet Connection: Required for activation, updates, and online features

NOTE: Magic Desktop is currently available for Windows only.

Input Devices

Mouse (Recommended)

Magic Desktop is designed to teach children how to use a mouse effectively. We recommend having a mouse available as children learn essential computer skills through guided activities.

Touch Screen Support

Magic Desktop fully supports touch screen devices, making it an excellent option for younger children who may find touch interactions more intuitive. Touch screens provide:
- Easy navigation for small hands
- Intuitive tap and swipe gestures
- Great for early learners

Best Practice:
We recommend having both a touch screen AND a mouse available. This combination allows children to:
- Start with touch for easier initial interaction
- Gradually learn mouse skills as they develop
- Choose the input method that works best for each activity

Internet Connection

An internet connection is required for:
- Initial activation and license validation
- Downloading content updates and educational materials
- Magic Browser safe web browsing features

A standard home internet connection is sufficient for all Magic Desktop features.

Multimedia Support

- Audio: Speakers or headphones recommended for educational games and activities
- Webcam: Optional - only needed for specific activities that use camera features
