I love Magic Desktop!
FeaturedThis is just a testimonial post -- no actual questions.
To me, Magic Desktop is a very well developed and exciting user experience! Kudos! You seriously know your stuff, and are truly an, if not THE, industry leader!
I don't know how you did it, but you beat the competition hands down. As a parent, I have tried 40 or so applications/router/filter etc. to solve the problem of protecting my kids -- you have the only solution that actually solves all of challenges that I have! The features that are needed are countless, but here are the major ones that other software doesn't have (they may each have some of them, but they really need all of them):
*Engaging environment
*A few fun web sites already added so that I don't have to add them myself
*Secure mail with a few features, plus known senders only
*Whitelisted web pages only (Google image search, youtube, etc. disabled by default, since there is no good way to block lewdness -- and lewdness is different from porn and thus not blocked by most companies)!
*By the way I use Kiddle as an allowed site so my kids have a search engine.
*Ability to unblock a single web page (instead of the whole site)
*Ability to watch netflix and youtube in the browser (I use parental controls on those sites to restrict my children's use)
*Multiple profiles (one for each child or age group)
*Allowing only certain apps
*Inability for children to easily bypass the software
*Multiple PC's on one license
*Easy and fun to set up, learn, and use
*Extended, liberal free trial
By the way, Kidoz is the only Android analogous app I have found that takes a similar approach to Magic Desktop.
I'm actually going to present my findings to my church and family because the process to figure that out was so time-intensive (trial and error of so many non-EasyBit applications). People need to know about and use Magic Desktop!!!
