License - All future major versions or just 9

Looking to understand the licensing model a bit more before I commit. 

Is it for a specific major version, such as Magic Desktop 9, or does it cover all future major versions such as 10 and 11 etc?

  Actually, our current licensing model exists since version 8. Owners of a Magic Desktop 8 license can use the same key to activate a setup with version 9. This is to continue throughout other major releases.
