License Preinstall ver

Hello everyone!

i got this laptop to upgrade the HDD to SSD (since the HDD reaches her end of life and is dying) and I wanted to transfer Magic Desktop to the new SSD. Its still the same computer. We dont have any license key since it was preinstalled on this Compaq Presario CQ61. But we really need Magic Desktop back. It is still running on the old HDD licensed, but I cant seem to transfer this to the new Laptop.
Its also not the newest version, it seems to be any Easybits Magic Desktop 3.0 version. We'd like to keep this Version.

Any help is preciated.

  Please take this issue up with our Support Services (https://www.magicdesktop.com/go/support). They'll be glad to assist you with this.

  When you do, please note the following:

  • Licenses preinstalled in OEM devices are strictly promotional, of limited use and do not enjoy the same level of Warranty Support paid licenses do. You can't transfer them either;
  • The day the system is changed in any way that voids that specific license type, it is permanently lost;
  • Magic Desktop 3.0 is legacy software. This product was discontinued early 2013, it will not work in any environment that uses either Windows 8, 8.1 or 10;
  • Easybits has a service courtesy policy, where users of promotional distributions can enjoy a 50% discount to purchase a full license for the current generation of Magic Desktop (version 9).
